My Opinion About Wasteland:
Wasteland introduces itself as the largest archive of BDSM on the net, and when I arrive in the members' area, I feel neck-deep in content. They certainly aren't kidding when they make their claim of big, although I personally would opt to say that the site is colossal.
Not only is there an amazing amount of content, but Wasteland is also an online community. Whatever your fetish or kink, you are likely to find similar-minded individuals in the chatroom. There is also a personals area, although I was surprised not to find a forum, but there's plenty of other things that will keep you so busy that it's hard to imagine you'd ever leave. There are contests and giveaways, how-to and informative articles on shibari and the rack, for example, erotic BDSM stories, interviews, Goth and lifestyle scene profiles, resources for pro-dommes and BDSM clubs, lists of weekly updates and of daily events and updates, amongst other things.
The site is surprisingly more organized than I imagined, and there's a blend of original and non-exclusive movies and photos. There are several different movie links and I can't possibly count the amount of videos you'll find, but you'll be facing at least 340 original films, and this is only from one movie section! Shibari, bondage, domestic domination, hot waxing, role playing, spanking and discipline, fisting and forced orgasm are just a short list of all the experiences you can revel in. However, I did wish to have a specific search engine to find scenes geared to my personal interests and fetishes. High-quality 855kbps 640x360 Windows Media films are generally 20 minutes of pure pain and pleasure amongst other things depending on the dominant in any one scene. The quality is good, although I wished that the full movies were more online with the fantastic HD 4810kbps 1280x720 montage flicks that come with each episode. There are also streaming movies, hentai and shibari categories and there's a list of 16 iPod titles that you can download.
While all of the original Wasteland movies come with a set of 1200x803 photos, there are at least another 100 exclusive sets and there are galleries from Dark Garden, Asian Underground and there are even more candid party shots from fetish clubs in Amsterdam and Las Vegas. Many sets have between 24 and 50 crisp images of a wide variety of fetish and BDSM scenes, although sometimes you'll simply find dark and edgy shots of fetish models.
Final Verdict:
Wasteland is fully stacked with some exciting BDSM and fetish content. It's really impossible not to love this site. Other than maybe a search engine, the site is easy to navigate, easy to download, and easy enough to meet people who have a similar interest in kinky fetish and BDSM lifestyle. Far from being barren, Wasteland is a happening paradise where pleasure and pain intermingle to give you everything that you could want from a BDSM site.
